Former Pitt Panther, William P. Fralic, Jr., is also a former NFL offensive guard. Bill Fralic attended the University of Pittsburgh on a football scholarship where he earned All-American as a junior and senior.

Upon graduation, Fralic was chosen as the second pick in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Fralic quickly became a starter for the Falcons in his rookie season and was named All-Pro two years running. Bill Fralic was also earned a spot in the Pro Bowl from 1986 to 1989. In 1993, Bill Fralic joined the Detroit Lions for one season before retiring.
