Daniel Constantine Marino, Jr. is a former quarterback for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL and Pittsburgh Panthers football player. Over his 16 year career in the NFL, Dan Marino managed to hold every major NFL passing record making him a football God in the eyes of his fans. As one of the greatest quarterbacks in American football history, Dan Marino earned his spot in the Football Hall of Fame in 2005.

At the University of Pittsburgh, Marino helped his team to numerous Bowl game wins and was a contestant for the Heisman Trophy in 1982. In the 1983 NFL Draft, Dan Marino was chosen in the first round by the Miami Dolphins. Over his football career with the Dolphins, Marino led his team to the post-season playoffs 10 of his 17 seasons. Dan Marino was also selected to play in nine Pro Bowls, was named first- or second-team All-Pro eight times and earned All-AFC honors six times.
